As
this is the first compilation of the top CHIC Poodle prefixes since the
Poodle breed joined CHIC in the fall of 2003, please contact Mrs. Reed
through Poodle Review if your kennel prefix is to be corrected.
Due to the extensive nature of the standard poodle listing, prefixes only
have been used for this, the first of the annual posting of the top CHIC
Poodle families.
The
breeders and owners of the Toy and Miniature varieties have made great
strides in health screenings accomplished and registered. In the
future, the minimum to be listed will no doubt be increased past the
current two or three.
Standard
Poodle breeders have made a terrific showing in their dedication to
“test and tell.” Concerned breeders and owners can work to
put together health clinics to help with the ever rising costs of health
screenings and thus conscientious dog breeding. Be certain to check
